Grimoire by Futurology of Cooperation
To explore the Grimoire by Futurology of Cooperation → this way
This Grimoire reappropriates the methods of "Futurology". These methods, often practised in the hidden back-rooms of corporate or political offices, halfway between art and science, attempt to predict how current trends might evolve into possible futures.
The Futurology of Cooperation research group democratises futurological tools and turns them into instruments for cooperation and time travel. In this publication, you will find them mixed with techniques of collective intelligence, poetic writing and somatic practices. This Grimoire can be used to imagine, design and explore possible futures collectively, whether the futures in question concern our social fabrics, the future of our democracies, the design of a good meal or a collective fanzine.
It exists in the form of a book and a website.
Futurology of Cooperation is a belgian multilingual research project that started in 2019. The project was born out of the desire of its members to sharpen their appetite for alternative possibilities and their skills in imagining them. Futurology of Cooperation was conceived as a training camp where speculative imagination could be exercised and the plasticity of reality rediscovered in order to learn how to imagine new societies. The research group consists of Anna Czapski, Diederik Peeters, Hans Bryssinck, Adva Zakai, Heike Langsdorf, Sarah Magnan, Pierre Huyghebaert, Mathilde Maillard, Rasa Alksnyte, Anna Rispoli and Marine Thévenet.
